On 22 Nov 1756 Fairfax conveyed 201 acres to Benjamin Str ickler, his share of his father's 1000 acres. On 11 Jun 1799
Mary Strickler, w idow and relict of Benjamin Strickler, deceased, Samuel Strickler and Christina his wife, Michael Road and Anna his wife, Daniel Strickler and David Strickler , children of said Benjamin Strickler, deceased (died intestate) sold to Henry Ferror several tracts of land. On 9 Jan 1798 Samuel Strickler, Michael Roads an d wife Anna, Daniel Strickler and David Strickler, children of Benjamin Strickl er, deceased sold 300 acres to Isaac Strickler (the land was granted to Benjami n Strickler in 1776).[17]

From other sources:
Benjamin received 201 acres i n his fathers will. In 1774 surveyed the land and it was 200 acres plus a 25 a cre island in the river. From the Bible of Henry Strickler (of Indiana), Benja min's son Samuel was born in Pennsylvania 1759. All of his children may have b een born there.

He may also have been born in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania .

He may have been born in 1735 In Egypt, Shenandoah, VA and may have diedin 1795.

When Benjamin Strickler died, several obituaries appeared in local pa pers. Each gave a different age for him when he died. But using either date, hi s birth was either 1726 or 1727. I have not seen these obituaries. The Funk His tory states that Benjamin was about 1720-25.
