On 9 Nov 1756 Fairfax conveyed 55 acres (which was origi nally assigned to Abraham Jr.) of Joseph's father's 1000 acres to Joseph Strick ler in Upper Egypt. In 1776 Joseph Strickler resurveyed his 55 acres plus his 1 05 acres, both part of his father's 1000 acre tract. On 22 Feb 1789 Joseph Stri ckler obtained another 100 acres next to Benjamin Strickler which was part of t he original 1000 acres tract of his father. He and his wife Barbara sold 100 ac res to Abraham Strickler, his son on 9 Sep 1794. [22 ]He left his plantation to his sons Daniel and Joseph by will when they became of age. The administrator of his estate was Abraham Strickler. The bondsmen were the said Abraham Strickl er, Isaac Strickler and David Cofman.
