He later worked for Donsco Corporation and T J's Tavern, Both of Mount Joy, PA He most recently was a porter for the housekeeping department of Masonic Homes, Elizabethtowm, Lancaster Co., PA A Lampeter-Strasburg High School Graduate. Jere served in the U S Marine Corps. He was a member of Mount Joy Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5752, American legion Post 185, Mount Joy., Elizabethtown Moose Lodge 596, and Susquehanna Beneficial Association, Marietta, Pa He enjoyed golfing gardening and going on cruises.
