"Rocky" Hoffman, 64, of 812 S. 15th St., Columbia, died on Wednesday at the Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Bonnie Miller Hoffman. They were married for 46 years. Born in Columbia he was the son of Betty Miller Hoffman of Columbia and the late Elwood L. Hoffman. Dennis retired from the R.R. Donnelley Co. He was previously employed for 21 years at Kerr Glass Co. and was currently employed by the Lancaster Barnstormers. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Viet Nam War. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Susquehanna Fire & Rescue Co., Chickies Rock Lodge #307-Loyal Order of the Moose, Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks Lodge # 1074, Susquehanna Court-Foresters of America, Columbia Beneficial Association and the Artisans Lodge. Surviving besides his wife and mother are two sons: Keith E., husband of Kathy Hoffman, of Manheim; and Scott D. Hoffman of Peoria, Arizona; a daughter: Kyleann, wife of Mitch Heim, of Klinesville; and two grandchildren: Ashley R. Heim and Alec Scott Hoffman. Funeral Services for Dennis will be held from the Columbia United Methodist Church, 5th and Walnut Sts., Columbia, PA on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with his pastor Rev. Mark S. Kopp officiating. A Viewing will be held at the Columbia United Methodist Church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. 10:30 a.m. Memorial Contributions in Denniss memory to the Susquehanna Fire & Rescue Co., 10th and Manor Streets, Columbia, PA 17512 would be deeply appreciated. Arrangements by the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., Columbia/Landisville, 684-2370 or 898-2240.
