Isaac Strickler, Sr., was married to Magdalena Neff, d/ o Heinrich Neff of Hempfield, PA. According to the Neff researchers she was a y ounger daughter in the family and was born about 1721-24 in or near Ibersheim, Germany. Assuming that Isaac and Magdalena were of similar age, Isaac must have been born in or about 1724.

Isaac Strickler, b. c1724. He died between 1764 and 1766, probab ly in Frederick Co., Virginia. He was living in Virginia 1747, 1750, 1762 an d 1764. On 2 Mar 1762 Isaac was deeded from Lord Fairfax, 183 acres, his share of his 1000 acres of his father Abraham Strickler's land. The deed states of Ab raham Strickler that the land by his last will and testament...was to be divid ed among his several sons as may fully appear by the Record of Orange Co. Co urt.(14) Henry Neff of Manor Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania was the guardian of Isaac's son Isaac in 1766. This Henry Neff was also one of the exec utors of the will of Henry Strickler of Hempfield Township, Lancaster Co. in 1761. He apparently had two children and possibly more.
