Flight: First Flight Airport - Wright Memorial - May 26, 2008

Jeff and his flying buddy Gary Mascelli flew to First Flight Airport (KFFA) on Memorial Day 2008. Gary met Jeff in the morning at 33N and they hopped into N9526J. The ride down was beautiful and just a little bumpy coming into KFFA. They spent time looking at the monument and other exhibits at the memorial. After that they grabbed a cab to Awful Arthur's for a good lunch. On the way home they stopped in Elizabeth City (KECG) for fuel and Jeff got to practice his cross-wind landing techniques as winds were about 50* off the runway at 16 knots gusting to 22 knots. The practice paid off as similar wind conditions were found back home at Delaware Airpark where Jeff made a nice landing that even got a rating of "10" from one of the old-timers that hang around the field. It was a beautiful day and great destination. The company was great as well!
